2014 Year in Review

March 17, 2015 / Dana / News

Tonight, we held our annual members meeting. About 16 members were in attendance to listen to our guest speaker, Kathleen Prasad, review our accomplishments for 2014, and vote-in Board Members for the next two-year term. Kathleen Prasad is the Founder and Director of Animal Reiki Source in Marin and the President of Shelter Animal Reiki Association, which aims to boost adoption rates in shelters nationwide by reducing stress and supporting healing in homeless animals. She has dedicated the last 15 years to teaching animal Reiki and is the author of several books including Reiki For Dogs. (For more information, please visit www.AnimalReikiSource.com.) Kathleen shared her experience being Reiki to help rescue animals of all species and gave an introductory lesson. As rescuers, we all saw the value of what Kathleen shared and many of us found ourselves nodding in agreement during her talk. Board Treasurer, Margaret, provided a year in review for 2014:
