Rescue Work

CC4C is deeply committed to rescuing abandoned animals. We rescue from junkyards, back lots, parking lots, people who can no longer care for their pets. We take in the unwanted and abandoned, trying to match them to homes that will be suit their temperaments. CC4C encounters hundreds (if not thousands) of cats each year that need homes, medical care and a loving environment. We achieve this through community outreach, trapping, adopting, fostering.

The following sections can assist people who need help or are willing to do the work themselves.

  • Trapping:

Here we provide some tips and tricks on how to effectively trap abandoned cats and kittens

  • Bottle Babies:

Instructions on the feeding and care for babies that have been rescued without a mother, or abandoned by their mothers

  • Don't Declaw:

Find out why declawing is cruel and creates more problems than it solves

  • Dangerous Plants:

While your household and holiday plants may provide for a beautiful accent to your home, it is important to know that some plants can poison your cat or kitten
