Contact Us (Form)

Due to the high volume of requests for help (over 3000/year!), our volunteers are unable to respond to every inquiry. Please note that:
  • CC4C’S service area is within Contra Costa County only.  CC4C does not have a shelter facility and relies on Rescuers to foster the kitties they find until they are adopted if a CC4C Sponsoring-Volunteer is available to coordinate medical and adoptions.  As CC4C does not have a shelter, it cannot accept surrenders or “found” kitties.
If you have found a sick or injured cat within Contra Costa County (not including Antioch), call Contra Costa Animal Services at (925) 608-8400. You can surrender them as a Good Samaritan to the Contra Costa Animal Services in Martinez during business-hours, or after-hours to Sage Veterinary Center in Concord. There is no surrender fee. For animals found in the city of Antioch, please contact Antioch Animal Services.
  • If you are outside of Contra Costa County, our volunteers may repsond with advice, but we are unable to accept or support requests outside of Contra Costa County.
  • If you are requesting medical records, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP, rabies as appropriate to age), treated for fleas and worms/intestinal parasites, and any other minor medical needed prior to adoption. The Adopter/Owner/Trapper will have this information on their yellow adoption agreement and/or medical record from our Cat Hospital when the Adopter/Owner brought kittens to Spay/Neuter appointment. Unfortunately, we are still very paper-based and it is not easy to retrieve archived adoption or medical records, and not all of this data is transcribed into our adoption database.
Visit our resources menu for detailed information on local low-cost spay/neuter, rehoming, found kittens, bottle feeding, humane trapping (TNR), and adoptions.
