East Bay Thrift Store Crawl

July 30, 2026 / Lori Chang / News

East Bay Thrift Store Crawl kicks off Saturday, August 1!

Start your thrift adventure at Rescue Treasures Thrift Store in Walnut Creek and discover unique finds while helping homeless cats and kittens.

Every purchase supports Community Concern for Cats, providing medical care and lifesaving programs for cats and kittens throughout Contra Costa County. Whether you’re hunting for vintage treasures, home décor, books, clothing, or unexpected bargains, your shopping makes a difference.

The East Bay Thrift Store Crawl is a great opportunity to visit nonprofit thrift stores throughout the East Bay, support local organizations, and give gently loved items a new home instead of sending them to the landfill.

How the East Bay Thrift Store Crawl Works

🗓️ August 1–18

  1. Visit any participating thrift store and spend $10 or more to receive your Thrift Store Crawl brochure and your first sticker.
  2. Continue the crawl by visiting the remaining participating stores. With each qualifying purchase of $10 or more, you’ll earn another sticker.
  3. Collect one sticker from every participating organization.
  4. Turn in your completed brochure for a chance to win the Grand Prize Bundle of 11 gift cards, including one $25 gift card from each participating organization!

🎉 The winner will be drawn during the week of August 25.
