Give the gift of life as you do your holiday shopping!

December 10, 2015 / Dana / News

We are now hosting our first-ever “Giving Tree” through December 24 at our upscale thrift store, Rescued Treasures, 1270-I Newell Ave., in Walnut Creek.  All proceeds go toward life-saving procedures for homeless cats and kittens in local neighborhoods.

Your donation will provide vaccinations, microchipping, healing antibiotics, flea protection, leukemia/FIV tests, veterinary office visits, spaying, neutering, surgeries, emergency medical procedures, and hopefully even holiday treats.  Our goal is to raise $3,000.

“We hope that everyone will enjoy coming into Rescued Treasures to purchase one of our special “Kitty” ornaments that we will then display on our front window,” says President Gemma Osendorf.

At this time of year Rescued Treasures looks like a boutique, filled with collectibles — Steinbach Nutcrackers, holiday décor, designer clothes, jewelry and lots of one-of-a-kind vintage items.

Make your shopping budget do double duty this year: Give the gift of life to our homeless, kittens as you purchase wonderful gifts for yourself and friends from Rescued Treasures.

Rescued Treasures hours: Mon.–Sat. 10am—5pm, and Sun.12pm–4pm. 925-937-3201.
